  • We need your help, everyone! Thanks to a generous donation from the Harry W. Morrison Foundation, our Velma Morrison Centennial Clock Tower may soon be able to tell time and chime again! We’ve started a crowdfunding campaign to reach the foundation’s promised $6,000 match, and we would love to have your help in reaching our goal! Alumni Solar Eclipse Trip

  • A group of alumni traveled to Stanley, Idaho to check out the total solar eclipse on Aug. 21 at full totality. Check out all our photos from this historic event here!

Move-In Day 2017

  • We had several excellent speakers at this year’s Convocation ceremony, including Dr. Bob Hoover, our new interim president. Listen to Dr. Hoover’s full message to the first-year students here!

  • Our current ASCI President Amanda DiDio also spoke at this year’s Convocation, encouraging the first-year students to find their voices in a time of political uncertainty and for them to realize how their actions will matter for years to come. Hear her full speech here!

Alumni Tassel Tunnel and Convocation

  • Our students not only got to listen to some great speakers, but also met several of our alumni as they received their Class of 2021 graduation tassels in the celebratory tassel tunnel! A full set of photographs from both the ceremony and the tassel tunnel can be found here!

First Day of School Photos

  • We started a new tradition for the first day of classes on Wednesday: first day of school pictures! We set up in the quad next to the clock tower along with a table full of props to make each photo special. Check out the full gallery here!

  • Dr. Howard Berger is back with a new episode of “The Berger Banter”! Football season has started and we’re just one weekend away from our first home game of the season. How does Dr. Berger feel about the football team? Find out here!

  • And speaking of football, it’s time to get hype, #YoteFam! With our first home game on September 9 just around the corner, our Yotes are ready to make the return to Simplot Stadium. Get pumped up by this video here and let your tickets for the opener right here!

  • Coyote Athletics Roundup: Our Lady Yotes are off to an excellent start this season, currently sitting at an undefeated 8-0 season record, going undefeated at the Big Sky Challenge for the second season in a row!...Three C of I student-athletes were honored by the Cascade Conference as Player of the Week recipients for their respective sports, including Marija Djonovic (volleyball), Grant Billings (men’s soccer) and Brittany Houghton (women’s soccer). Congratulations, Yotes!...Our men’s cross country team has been ranked No. 10 in the NAIA pre-season poll, while our women’s team is ranked at No. 4…The football season opener ended in a tight loss for the Yotes, defeated by the University of Montana-Western at 16-14. 

  • The College of Idaho mourns the death of former Idaho Gov. Cecil Andrus. In addition to the many roles he played in Idaho politics, Andrus also served on the College’s Board of Trustees for two terms, including a term as chair in which he helped engineer significant financial gifts that held the College together.   • Professors Out and About: C of I Professor of English Diane Raptosh will be giving a public reading at the Boise Public Library on September 21. Check out all the details in advance here!
