  • We're No. 1! According to the Wall Street Journal, The College of Idaho is once again the top institute of higher learning in the Gem State. News of the ranking was shared by multiple news outlets, including the Idaho Press, KIDO Radio, and Idaho Education News.

  • The College of Idaho football team is competing in the tough Frontier Conference this fall, picking up exciting wins over Southern Oregon and rival Eastern Oregon in recent weeks. The Yotes are averaging 3,804 fans per home game so far this season, up from 3,557 in 2019, when the College ranked third in attendance at the NAIA level.
Riley O'Brien pitching for the Reds
  • On September 28, 2021, right-handed pitcher Riley O'Brien '17 became just the second College of Idaho product to reach the major leagues when he pitched for the Cincinnati Reds against the Chicago White Sox. O'Brien retired four batters in his first appearance, two of them via strikeout. The other big-league Yote is Jason Simontacchi, who won 26 games on the mound between 2002 and 2007. (Idaho Press)
