What’s next on the list for our nationally ranked No. 4 Yotes? Capturing the Cascade Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament Championship. The Yotes will tip off against the No. 13 Warner Pacific University Knights at 8:05 p.m. this Tuesday, Feb. 27 in the J.A. Albertsons Activities Center for a shot at their third CCC Championship in five years — a home game that will be aired on the regional broadcast stage for the first time in the program’s history.
Just like any modern monarch, rodeo royalty is deep in the blood of College of Idaho senior Betsy West. In the 107 years since the first ever Pendleton Round-Up in Oregon, three generations of West’s family have been representatives on the rodeo’s court, including her great-grandmother in 1934 and 1935, her mother in 1989, and her sister in 2014.

College of Idaho Athletic Director Reagan Rossi has continued contact with the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and is confident that we will be on target to host Southern Oregon tomorrow as scheduled.
Due to the unhealthy air that has settled into the Treasure Valley this week, we believe it is prudent to have a contingency plan in the event the air remains unhealthy and our scheduled game needs to be postponed.
Three years ago, The College of Idaho Coyotes stormed back onto the field for its first home football game since 1977. It was a program in its infancy, a team with few expectations of immediate success. Some doubted the Yotes could go toe-to-toe with the much older programs on their schedule, little more than a bye week for the opposition.
