The debates themselves take place on a platform called Yaatly, which was designed specifically for speech and debate. That lessens the impact on the event itself, but not what occurs outside of the speeches.
The College of Idaho has scored well in the past with The Princeton Review, routinely receiving recognition from the publication. The College received praise for its rigorous academics, strong faculty, active student life, and strong financial aid.
“What rankings and inclusions provide is affirmation that the excellent work our faculty, staff, and students contribute to the academic community is being noticed,” said Vice President of Enrollment Management Brian Bava.
The College’s Fall Re-Opening Plan is now a phased approach with the beginning phase on August 19 consisting of primarily online-classes in a distance learning format.
