The one-year certificate program graduated six students last spring. There are 14 enrolled this year, all of whom are students who have already received their undergraduate degrees.

Over 70 qualified artists from across the state of Idaho applied for the Idaho Commission on the Art Visual Art Fellowship. Claassen and Fisher were two of the three selected.
In order to earn this distinction, a library is judged by a seven-person committee on its design achievement, including a sense of place, purpose, ecology, environmental sustainability, and history.
The conference featured students from 65 different colleges and universities from 25 different states, including UCLA, Stanford, NYU, and Cal-Berkeley. There was a total of 25 awards handed out, three of which went to students from the College.
