ISO’s Secret Santa has given students an opportunity to responsibly interact with other students during the break.

It hasn’t exactly been business as usual for the Associated Students of The College of Idaho (ASCI). Twenty-four senators have teamed with the elected student leadership to continue to give students a voice at the College.

The club already gathers and distributes casual clothes to students on campus for free, but now the two are collaborating to provide something that meshes well with the College’s goal of blurring the lines between college and career by allowing students to “check out” proper attire for job or internship interviews.

Bui found that students were studying and preparing for the MCAT on their own. Some, he said, were basically “winging it,” so he thought about starting a club.

According to recent data released by the College, the current student body contains students from Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, and Venezuela. Eight of those countries celebrate their national independence days during Latinx Heritage Month.

Phelps isn’t just taking three yoga classes per week; she’s organizing them as part of the Dance Club’s efforts to keep the College’s community connected during this spring’s campus closure.

The YoteVote platform was devised by Alan Price ’10 when he was a student at the College. It was first used in 2008 and, despite minor hiccups, has never failed.

The fashion show is being held in the hope to bring more awareness to both the campus’ Chic Boutique storefront and the environmental benefits of recycling clothes.

He’s not talking about teaching students where to find the best hot springs. He’s talking about preparing students for life beyond the Caldwell campus.
